Ultrasonic Cleaning occurs when ultrahigh frequency sound waves (Hz) are passed through a liquid creating cavitation, microscopic bubbles collapsing into themselves. This cleaner is amazing! I love how all my jewelry and glasses shine. My jewelry looks like I just bought it from a jeweler. I have cleaned my parents jewelry and they love it also. You will not be sorry by purchasing this item.

I bought this cleaner to clean my stainless steel/titanium banded watches and it does the job well.
After a 4 minute cycle, however, there was still some grime left in the nooks and crannies, but a second 4 minute cycle took care of that quickly.
This item made ALOT less noise than another cleaner I had tried out before ( which had broken upon my first use ). It runs quietly and the automatic timer with selection is a thoughtful and handy touch.
Use this item with small drop of dishwasher detergent for the best results.

I purchased this model for cleaning a few of my agate and quartz specimens, as this helps them to shine.
I do think it could be a little more powerful, Also the product is very hard to clean out when done using, no drain cap!!!!
The company that makes this gives out barely any customer service, it takes them almost 3 day to answer an email.
still its a good alternative to the 400 dollar deluxe gem cleaning units.

Used once, cleaned jewelry just fine, similar results to other much less expensive ultrasonic cleaners I've had in the past. However, the ultrasonic action loosened several stones in two pieces, which I will have to get repaired. I was lucky to be able to find the stones before I tossed the cleaning solution. I expect that the repair will cost more than the cleaner did. I would not recommend using this cleaner until you've inspected all pieces that you place in it for any loose stones.
